About the role
- Provides technical expertise to develop, maintain, and support technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software components for mid- to large-sized projects.
- Ensures the performance and reliability of all services meet or exceed the needs of the business.
- Provides tier three engineering support across the enterprise, including providing support and resolution on customer issues.
- Configures and maintains applicable systems and assists with performing daily tasks, such as database backups and configuration management database updates.
- Interacts with customers and architects to define system requirements and translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Recommends needed production capacity to meet changing business demands.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of infrastructure engineering or related experience
- Knowledge of emerging hardware and software technologies
