About the role

  • Provide individual, group, couples, and family counseling services.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments.
  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Conduct virtual counseling sessions using HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms.
  • Facilitate in-person sessions for clients in an office setting.
  • Ensure client privacy and confidentiality in all settings.
  • Conduct client intakes, assessments, collect initial paperwork, and verify eligibility.
  • Schedule and confirm client appointments and coordinate with administrative staff for files and billing.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and supervision sessions.
  • Assist with client outreach and follow-up to maintain engagement and continuity of care.
  • Adhere to state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and training to maintain professional growth.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Provisional licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC).
  • Ability to obtain full licensure within state-required timeline.
  • Experience in telehealth counseling and in-office clinical services (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic administrative tools.
  • Commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality, and client-centered care.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage crises effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accurate documentation and compliance.
  • Adaptability to work in both virtual and in-office environments.
