About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with the Lead for Medicines Management & Patient Services and Lead Pharmacist(s) for Haematology & Oncology
- Run a technician-based medicines optimisation/management service
- Take day-to-day responsibility for various elements of medicines management/optimisation
- Support training and development of trainee technicians and pharmacy assistants
- Contribute to weekend shifts on a rota basis
- Provide pharmacy support within the HCA at UCH Grafton Way Building and Macmillan Cancer Centre
Requirements
What you’ll need- Registered Pharmacy Technician
- GPhC Accredited Checking Technician
- Knowledge of Medicines Management
- Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy
- Ability to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Willingness to contribute to weekend shifts on a rota basis
