About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with the Lead for Medicines Management & Patient Services and Lead Pharmacist(s) for Haematology & Oncology
Run a technician-based medicines optimisation/management service
Take day-to-day responsibility for various elements of medicines management/optimisation
Support training and development of trainee technicians and pharmacy assistants
Contribute to weekend shifts on a rota basis
Provide pharmacy support within the HCA at UCH Grafton Way Building and Macmillan Cancer Centre

Requirements

What you’ll need

Registered Pharmacy Technician
GPhC Accredited Checking Technician
Knowledge of Medicines Management
Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy
Ability to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Willingness to contribute to weekend shifts on a rota basis
