About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implement the sales strategy to develop the market with existing and new customers
  • Identify and actively pursue growth and new business opportunities
  • Lead generation (e.g., through marketing events, cold calling, etc.)
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant customer contacts
  • Develop sales and acquisition strategies
  • Plan and conduct customer meetings
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., support, service, management) to achieve objectives and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with technical specialists (SMEs) for technical support during the sales process
  • Deliver presentations and product demonstrations together with SMEs
  • Prepare and present proposals and concepts
  • Document all sales activities in Salesforce
  • Create, maintain, and report a reliable forecast
  • Continuously analyze and clarify customer requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in engineering software solutions
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • Strong communication skills and a confident, professional manner in discussions
  • Ideally, experience with nCode and/or ReliaSoft products or similar applications
  • Basic knowledge in areas such as material fatigue, data acquisition, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), or reliability analysis is an advantage
  • Understanding of technical customer processes and related software applications
  • High integrity and a strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent German and English, both spoken and written
