About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implement the sales strategy to develop the market among existing and new customers
  • Identify and actively pursue growth and new-business opportunities
  • Generate leads (e.g., through marketing events, cold calling, etc.)
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant contacts on the customer side
  • Develop sales and acquisition strategies
  • Plan and conduct customer meetings
  • Coordinate with internal interfaces to achieve targets and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts to provide technical support in the sales process
  • Deliver presentations and product demonstrations
  • Prepare and present proposals and concepts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in engineering software solutions
  • Demonstrable achievement of sales targets
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ideally, knowledge of nCode and/or ReliaSoft products or comparable applications
  • Basic knowledge in areas such as material fatigue, data acquisition, FEM/FEA or reliability analysis is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
  • Occasional willingness to travel
