About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Grow and expand the sales of HBK software through in the Japanese region.
  • Maintain an awareness of, and respond to, customer needs (for HBK Software, services, products and support) and understand customers’ durability/reliability analysis requirements.
  • Help to present HBK software to current and prospective customers
  • Develop calling and selling strategies for assigned opportunities.
  • Plan and execute customer visits and presentations to promote HBK Software awareness
  • Utilize and document the sales process in SalesForce (working closely with Sales Staff, Accounts and Purchasing)
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in STEM or Business Administration.
  • 10+ years’ experience in sales and business development, specifically selling Engineering Software.
  • Fluent in English and Japanese
  • Highly developed and diversified communication skills and techniques
  • High standard of professional integrity
  • Demonstrated success in software and/or software plus hardware sales.
  • Willingness to travel.
