About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct responsibility for sales performance, including full territory coverage and deal closure.
  • Provide regular feedback to management on the business environment within the assigned territory.
  • Identify new business opportunities while maintaining loyalty within the existing customer base.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships at all levels of customer organizations, including engineering, marketing, procurement, and senior management.
  • Plan and conduct customer visits and presentations to promote HBK and develop business opportunities.
  • Develop strategies to expand HBK’s presence in the automotive, military, machinery, education, energy, and other market segments.
  • Maintain strong technical knowledge of HBK’s key products, with the ability to carry out basic hardware and software demonstrations.
  • Participate in regional trade shows and conferences to generate new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain sales forecasts in coordination with the internal sales team.
  • Work closely with product marketing to identify key applications where HBK delivers differentiated value.
  • Support marketing with application insights and market feedback.
  • Record sales activities and opportunities diligently in the CRM system.
  • Prospect for and develop new opportunities and contacts through social media, including LinkedIn, and by sharing HBK content.
  • Take full responsibility for preparing quotations and commercial proposals using CRM tools and price lists.
  • Prepare more detailed proposals based on tender or bid specifications.
  • Provide business feedback to the company through reports and forecasts.
  • Actively contribute to departmental meetings.
  • Participate in promotional and marketing activities within your region.
  • Use appropriate hardware, information, and materials to support the sales process.
  • Conduct regular visits to prospective and existing customers, generating demand through consultative selling techniques.
  • Acquire new customers and support colleagues with product- and technology-specific knowledge, fostering teamwork.
  • Work closely with service departments to drive service-related sales activities.
  • Provide post-sales support and order follow-up.
  • Deliver pre-sales technical support to customers.
  • Report monthly expenses using the corporate card.
  • Promote HBK events and training programs.
  • Work ethically and maintain confidentiality, respecting NDA-protected and other confidential HBK information.
  • Provide monthly sales forecasts, ensuring that opportunities are properly recorded and updated in the CRM.
  • Engage HBK specialists to support visits to strategic customers requiring specific technical expertise.
  • Inform the GCC of items that need replenishment to ensure fast delivery to customers.
  • Collaborate proactively with all departments, keeping them informed of customer needs.
  • Work ethically, efficiently, and collaboratively, respecting individual and collective values and maintaining a respectful work environment.
  • Submit the monthly sales forecast by the first day of each month, including comments on opportunities and strategic or key accounts.
  • Submit general reports, such as demo equipment movement and expense reports, within the established deadlines.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), or another technical discipline within engineering or the physical sciences.
  • Experience selling one or more of the following product categories: acoustics, sound and vibration measurement, instrumentation, test and measurement, or sensors.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanics, electrical engineering, acoustics, or measurement and testing.
  • Self-driven and organized profile, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the technical aptitude to learn a diverse product portfolio.
  • Experience in instrumentation, testing, or data acquisition.
  • Ability and experience in demonstrating technical products.
  • Proven track record of sales success, with at least 10 years of experience meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Solid IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Collaborative profile with strong teamwork skills.
  • Proactive and positive attitude.
