Application Engineer
HBK - Hottinger Brüel & KjærApplication Engineer specializing in sound and vibration measurement solutions. Collaborating with sales and engineering teams in a remote role within the United States with some travel.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the technical liaison in support of the sales organization
- Understand customer test and measurement requirements and evaluate/configure systems
- Support a broad range of sound and vibration applications
- Provide technical presentations and solution overviews to customers
- Deliver on-site and virtual demonstrations of HBK solutions
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
- 10+ years of engineering experience in sound and vibration, acoustics, structural dynamics, or related test and measurement disciplines
- Strong background in sound and vibration testing and analysis using commercial measurement software platforms
- Experience with data acquisition systems and instrumentation
- Must be able to travel freely within North America
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
