About the role
- Your role will include project management, design, planning, operational support, and business development with a focus on water reuse and drinking water projects
- Supporting and developing proposal development.
- Helping to identify, hire, supervise and mentor junior drinking water staff.
- Direct coordination and collaboration with clients.
- Coordination with internal technical specialists in all practice areas and discipline design professionals for project delivery.
- Managing projects to meet client expectations, budgets, and quality requirements.
- Following internal Hazen processes to ensure quality delivery of engineering projects for clients.
- Technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments on small/medium/large projects.
- Performing planning, studies, design, and support of projects through design, construction, and operation.
- Evaluate progress of the project staff and results obtained and recommend changes to achieve overall project objective
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering
- PE license
- 12+ years of experience in municipal water treatment, water quality, water treatment technology, or manufacturing
- Experience in successfully delivering projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
- Proficient in all MS Office based computer software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Self-starter with attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be capable of presenting complex issues to nontechnical people
