About the role
- Deliver high-impact solutions across five core service areas: Asset Management, Organizational Health & Resilience, Economic & Financial Services, Technology & Business Intelligence, Public Outreach & Communication
- Designing and implementing utility management and asset management plans throughout their lifecycle
- Assisting with field assessments of infrastructure
- Building and maintaining management tools such as structured databases, interactive business intelligence platforms, and data visualization dashboards
- Preparing polished client-facing materials and presentations
- Contributing to pursuit development, project scoping, and in time leading pursuits as a Pursuit Manager
- Serving as Project Manager for UMS engagements
- Leading client interactions and coordinating with engineering, planning, and science teams
- Supervising and mentoring junior UMS staff, while supporting quality assurance of deliverables
- Diagnosing client needs and developing strategic, customized solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and experienced with database management tools such as Excel, Access, and SQL
- Hands-on experience with business intelligence and data tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps, etc.)
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
- Collaborative team player who is also self-motivated and capable of working independently
