Sales Development Representative
HazelcastSales Development Representative responsible for identifying and creating new qualified leads for Hazelcast. Managing inbound leads and outbound campaigns while articulating the company's value proposition.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Achieve/exceed monthly metrics (ex: qualified meetings/opportunities created)
- Prospect, educate, qualify and develop target accounts
- Respond to inbound customer leads and develop these accounts to create opportunities
- Successfully manage and overcome customer objections
- Ability to call within all levels of an organization and identify business needs for Hazelcast solutions
- Liaise with Marketing to drive attendance to, and follow up on events such as training and conferences
- Utilization of CRM and communication tools (Salesforce, Outreach)
- Utilization of Internet research tools for prospecting (LinkedIn, Seamless.Ai, Zoominfo)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
- At least, 1 year of relevant professional sales experience
- Candidates should have sales development or related experience in a business-to-business environment
- Industry knowledge a plus
- Proven track record of success in cold calling, deal qualification, and goal achievement preferred
- Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication skills, highly confident, able to work diligently and independently, and goal-oriented
- Experience in speaking with a Line of Business leaders and C-level executives
- Fast learner with strong technical aptitude
- Must have high ethics, integrity, and humility and have the desire to be part of a rapidly growing organization
- Experience in software start-up and competitive software sales environments preferred
