About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage full-cycle recruitment for professional staff positions across assigned business services departments
- Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements, develop job descriptions, and establish recruiting strategies
- Source, screen, assess, and recommend qualified candidates
- Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, feedback, and the hiring process through offer acceptance
- Maintain candidate data and recruitment activity in Workday and other recruiting systems
- Develop proactive candidate pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles
- Analyze recruiting metrics and hiring trends and recommend improvements
- Facilitate preboarding and onboarding activities
- Support talent development, career progression, performance management, talent reviews, compensation, and employee engagement projects
- Assist with HR policies, procedures, HR systems, learning and development programs, training logistics, evaluations, and reports
- Participate in HR and recruiting process improvement initiatives, compliance audits, reporting, and special projects
- Serve as a liaison between Human Resources and other departments
- Report directly to the Manager of Staff Learning & Development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in recruiting, human resources, talent acquisition, learning and development, or a related field
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required
- Strong recruiting and candidate sourcing skills
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience utilizing HR metrics and reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Workday, Smartsheet, LinkedIn Recruiter, and HR technology platforms preferred
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or a commitment to obtaining certification is preferred
- Must be able to move around the office up to 15% of the time
- Must be able to operate computers and office productivity machines
- Must be able to inspect and observe information on a computer screen at least 80% of the time
- Requires constant communication and exchange of information with attorneys, clients, and staff
