About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for assigned AI solutions, from intake and discovery through prioritization, delivery, rollout, adoption, measurement, and long-term support
  • Manage a defined Harvey/GenAI idea backlog and convert attorney ideas into actionable product opportunities
  • Engage attorneys and practice groups to clarify AI use cases, identify workflow pain points, assess feasibility, and define scope
  • Partner with engineering to produce epics, user stories, workflow maps, acceptance criteria, test plans, sample documents, and rollout requirements
  • Coordinate attorney feedback during builds, user acceptance testing, and iteration
  • Maintain roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, release plans, pilot plans, feedback summaries, and idea tracking
  • Coordinate pilots and proof-of-concept efforts, including participant selection, success criteria, testing, feedback, recommendations, and scale-up or sunset decisions
  • Coordinate with the Harvey platform owner on roadmap alignment, releases, vendor capabilities, governance, reuse, and cross-practice patterns
  • Monitor support calls, questions, usage trends, and attorney feedback to identify workflow, enablement, enhancement, and governance opportunities
  • Partner with Knowledge Management on knowledge banks, precedent-based workflows, structured content, search and retrieval, and reuse patterns
  • Support adoption through rollout plans, workflow documentation, practice-specific examples, feedback loops, and usage analysis
  • Monitor and report product performance using adoption, usage, time saved, cycle time, data quality, satisfaction, and business outcome KPIs
  • Ensure solutions comply with security, access, ethical wall, confidentiality, records, and GenAI governance requirements
  • Coordinate with IT and vendors on performance, incidents, maintenance, enhancements, training, and roadmaps
  • Support cross-portfolio initiatives involving data capture, structured content, integrations, analytics, and AI readiness
  • Report directly to the Manager of Practice Innovation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of product ownership, product management, legal technology, legal operations, knowledge systems, innovation, or professional services experience
  • Experience working with attorneys, practice groups, or other expert users to identify needs, define requirements, manage priorities, and deliver user-facing solutions
  • Experience with GenAI-enabled workflows, legal AI platforms, workflow automation, knowledge systems, document-centric products, or similar practice tools
  • Working knowledge of law-firm operational controls, including security, confidentiality, access control, data handling, and governance
  • Experience collaborating with engineering teams and translating stakeholder needs into implementable requirements
  • Experience with Harvey or other legal GenAI platforms preferred, but not required
  • Ability to translate legal practice needs into product requirements, workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and user-facing solutions
  • Strong discovery, stakeholder management, prioritization, and delivery skills
  • Ability to work with engineers, vendors, IT, KM, enablement, and practice stakeholders
  • Data-driven approach to adoption, engagement, support trends, and value measurement
  • Strong judgment and risk awareness regarding access, security, confidentiality, and compliance
  • Clear communication skills for explaining technical and AI-enabled solutions to legal and business audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, legal studies, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Law firm or legal industry experience preferred; JD not required
  • Must be able to move around the office up to 15% of the time and remain stationary at least 85% of the time
  • Ability to operate computers and office productivity machines regularly
  • Ability to occasionally move documents or files weighing up to 15 lbs
  • Ability to communicate and exchange information constantly with attorneys, clients, and staff
  • Ability to inspect and observe information on a computer screen at least 80% of the time
