About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Set up the video review and audio systems on match days.
Perform pre-match system checks in accordance with standard procedures and the checklist.
Operate the technology during matches (4 to 20 cameras).
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Conduct research and development for new projects and new systems (outside match days).
Provide feedback after each match and report any faulty or missing hardware to the hardware manager so issues can be resolved before the next match.
Participate in weekly calls (technical calls, feedback, preparation, etc.).
Manage your own working time when working remotely to be as efficient as possible.
Participate in regular training (Replay Centre, stadiums, CNF) with colleagues and referees.
Help keep the Replay Centre and the warehouse in good condition.
Undertake individual ad hoc projects in response to changing business needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong technical grounding, ideally with a degree in a relevant subject or equivalent work experience.
Good knowledge of the VAR project.
Time management skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure, procedural, live-broadcast environment.
Strong communication skills; comfortable and confident liaising with stakeholders in a professional and approachable manner.
Ability to take ownership of issues and find practical, pragmatic solutions to technical challenges. Problem-solving oriented.
Experience working on large-scale technical projects or installations and delivering to deadlines is beneficial.
Strong knowledge of football, especially French football, and a general interest in sport.
Fluent in French and English. Additional languages are a plus.
Esports player (football video games) is a plus.
