About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Installation of the video and audio assistant system for referees on match days.
Perform pre-match system checks in accordance with established procedures and the checklist.
Operate the technological setup during matches (from 4 to 20 cameras).
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Research and development of new projects and systems (outside of match days).
Provide post-match feedback after each match. Report any defective or missing equipment to the equipment manager so the issue can be addressed before the next match.
Participate in weekly meetings (technical meetings, debriefs, preparation, etc.).
Manage remote working time autonomously to optimize efficiency.
Participate in regular training sessions (at the viewing centre, in stadiums, at the National Football Center - CNF) with colleagues and referees.
Contribute to keeping the viewing centre and warehouse in good condition.
Carry out occasional individual projects to respond to the evolving needs of the activity.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong technical fundamentals; ideally higher education in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
Good knowledge of the VAR project.
Organized and able to work under pressure, following procedures and in a live-broadcast environment.
Good communication skills; comfortable and confident when interacting with various stakeholders, and professional yet approachable.
Ability to take ownership of issues and find pragmatic, viable solutions to technical challenges.
Experience with large-scale technical projects or installations and meeting deadlines is an asset.
Solid knowledge of football (particularly French football) and a general interest in sport.
Fluent in French and English. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
Experience with e-sports (football video games) is appreciated.
