About the role

  • Plan, shoot, and edit video for product demos, field operations, government submissions, recruiting, social content, and more
  • Capture autonomous systems in action across maritime, aerial, and ground environments
  • Operate in real-world conditions including open water, field tests, and industrial settings
  • Lead on-site production: cast, camera, audio, lighting, and shoot direction
  • Work with and direct external production partners to scale output while maintaining quality
  • Operate drones for aerial capture (obtain FAA Part 107 certification if not already licensed)
  • Write scripts, develop shot lists, and structure clear video narratives
  • Build and maintain a structured visual asset library
  • Deliver finished content for web, press, social media, sales, recruiting, and investor use

Requirements

  • Videographers with documentary, journalism, or field production backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • High degree of ownership required in the content creation process, including writing scripts, planning shoots, operating cameras, directing on-site, and editing.
  • Comfort working on fast-moving vessels in the open ocean.
  • Collaboration with experienced operators, including former military and field personnel, in high-tempo environments.
  • Ability to develop clear video narratives from technical work and translate them into visual stories.
