About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive mortgage volume in the alternative lending space
  • Educate broker partners on Haventree’s product mix, guidelines, and procedures
  • Identify new and existing marketplace opportunities and develop them into trusted partnerships
  • Attend and participate in industry events to promote brand awareness
  • Identify industry trends and customer drivers
  • Monitor competitors and remain knowledgeable about the industry landscape
  • Develop innovative sales strategies, marketing concepts, and product applications
  • Monitor monthly expenses within budget
  • Log daily activities in the appropriate CRM system
  • Review monthly, weekly, and quarterly sales reports for accuracy and targeted sales planning
  • Report monthly, quarterly, and annually on business metrics for the assigned territory
  • Serve as Haventree Bank’s voice to external partners and communicate the company’s vision

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree
  • Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in residential mortgage lending/mortgage broker network
  • Business development and prospecting skills, including building and leveraging valuable centers of influence within the sales territory
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to present virtually or in person to small and large groups
  • Flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to negotiate and deliver both positive and tough messaging to broker partners
  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources
  • Knowledge of the residential mortgage market, broker network, and emerging industry trends
  • Results-oriented attitude with a drive to grow individual and organizational results
  • Ability to work independently and build internal relationships remotely with a team
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Proficient at collaborating with others
