About the role

  • Maintain a best-in-class, customer-centric culture and deliver an exceptional employee experience
  • Manage net operating income (NOI), occupancy, collections, and home sales to achieve operational excellence
  • Lead team management and leadership duties (~30%): cultivate employee satisfaction, execute SOPs, align company priorities
  • Resident relations and retention (~25%): address resident issues, execute resident touch points, maintain resident ledgers and monthly billing, ensure timely work order completion
  • Sales and leasing (~25%): lead community marketing, maintain sales pipeline and occupancy goals, oversee sale of on-site homes
  • NOI management (~10%): track and maintain positive NOI and control expenses via vendor and supplier oversight
  • Collections (~5%): ensure rent is billed accurately, collected on-time, and complete legal notices in compliance with state and Fair Housing Standards
  • Curb appeal (~5%): ensure equipment and amenities meet safety regulations, maintain homesites and common areas, manage capital projects on time and on budget
  • Communicate regularly with maintenance, sales/leasing, field leadership, and home office staff; occasional annual or semi-annual travel may be required

Requirements

  • You have a high school diploma or GED. Associate degree preferred but not required
  • 3+ years’ of experience in multi-family home property management
  • Manufactured home experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Ability to spend long hours sitting, walk within the community, and lift materials and supplies
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and Fair Housing Standards
  • Experience managing net operating income (NOI), occupancy, collections, and home sales
