About the role
- Maintain a best-in-class, customer-centric culture while delivering an exceptional employee experience
- Manage net operating income (NOI), occupancy, collections, and home sales to achieve operational excellence
- Cultivate employee satisfaction and lead community staff, executing standard operating procedures and policies
- Ensure community compliance with federal and state laws and Fair Housing Standards
- Cultivate resident satisfaction, address resident issues with urgency, and execute resident touch points to drive renewals
- Maintain resident ledgers and generate monthly bills
- Ensure all work orders are completed within 48 hours of receipt
- Lead community marketing efforts and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and pipeline conversion metrics
- Oversee occupancy goals for rental homes and the sale of on-site homes
- Track and maintain a positive NOI and manage expenses through vendor and supplier oversight
- Ensure rent is billed accurately and collected on time; complete legal action and notices as required
- Ensure community equipment and amenities meet safety regulations and maintain curb appeal
- Provide input into community capital plans and ensure capital projects are completed on time, within scope and budget
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree preferred but not required
- 3+ years’ of experience in multi-family home property management
- Manufactured home experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to spend long hours sitting and to walk within the community
- Ability to lift materials and supplies from time to time
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
