About the role
- Maintain a best-in-class, customer-centric culture while delivering an exceptional employee experience
- Manage net operating income (NOI), occupancy, collections, and home sales
- Cultivate employee satisfaction and lead the team (30% time)
- Cultivate resident satisfaction and retention; address resident issues and maintain ledgers (25% time)
- Lead sales and leasing efforts; manage marketing and sales pipeline (25% time)
- Track and maintain positive NOI; oversee expense management (10% time)
- Ensure rent billing and collections; complete legal actions and notices (5% time)
- Ensure community equipment and amenities meet safety regulations and maintain curb appeal (5% time)
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and Fair Housing Standards
- Provide input into community capital plans and oversee capital projects
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred but not required)
- 3+ years’ of experience in multi-family home property management
- Manufactured home experience is a plus
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to spend long hours sitting and walking within the community; lifting materials and supplies from time to time
