As an Underwriting Specialist, you are accountable for underwriting reviews of all community applications utilizing Fair Housing requirements, Havenpark's admission policy, and Havenpark's underwriting standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing underwriting decisions on applications, developing process improvements for underwriting, and analyzing and reporting effectively to the Havenpark leadership team.
Requirements
- Associates degree preferred 1+ years' experience in underwriting Experience in property management is helpful, but not required Experience in analyzing data Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel Strong knowledge of computer software programs, such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRMs Strong analytical skills; strong attention to detail with exceptional time-management skills Ability to use strong judgment and problem-solving skills when making decisions Motivated to help others, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision Excellent oral and written communication skills
