About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support earned media and social campaigns for brands across travel, food and drink, automotive, retail, FMCG and technology
Write press releases, content captions, case studies, briefing documents, fact packs, biographies, WIP notes and media invitations
Manage multiple projects and workstreams, including emails, WIPs, timelines, cost budgets and coverage trackers
Participate in brainstorming, client presentations, media strategy development and supplier coordination
Help bring stories to life through stunts, photography, celebrities and content
Support influencer campaigns and brainstorm social content
Monitor and respond to social trends and the wider digital/media landscape
Build relationships with clients, suppliers and journalists
Maintain and expand a professional network
Learn to pitch stories to journalists
Share updates in client meetings
Work in a cross-matrix team alongside Account Executives, Account Managers and Account Directors, reporting to a team lead
Work on real briefs and projects for real clients as part of the six-month Havas Platform programme

Requirements

What you’ll need

Curious and hungry to learn new skills
Excellent writing
Strong attention to detail, including spelling, grammar and document formatting
Passion for storytelling, building relationships and securing media coverage
Real team player, keen to support the team and create high-quality work
Interest in news, culture, celebrity and trends
Curiosity to learn about social media and the wider digital/media landscape
Ability to manage projects and workstreams in a fast-paced environment
Ability to plan timelines, cost budgets and coverage trackers
Ability to apply feedback to improve written work
Must answer the three application questions and place the answers as the first page of the CV
Availability for the six-month Havas Platform entry-level programme
Willingness to work in the hybrid London-based model
