About the role
- Timely posting and processing of day-to-day financial transactions for non-profit organizations
- Preparation of annual financial statements for both simple and complex non-profit entities
- Point of contact for employees, donors, partners, auditors and public authorities
- Support for the accounting team on recognition, valuation and presentation matters
- Participation in and leadership of various internal projects
Requirements
- Relevant qualification, e.g., tax clerk, business administrator or certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
- Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
- Proficient with MS Office applications; knowledge of MS-Dynamics NAV / Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in a team
- Service-oriented mindset and approach
- Interest in promoting civic engagement
