About the role
- Own and maintain dashboards and reports that highlight Hatch’s value to customers.
- Use SQL to query data, validate assumptions, and support decision-making.
- Work with customers to understand reporting needs and deliver custom reports.
- Manage and improve the data stack that powers reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy and usability.
- Document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and roadmap execution for reporting initiatives.
- Ensure reporting features meet usability and performance expectations.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of product management or closely related experience.
- Proficiency in SQL — comfortable writing queries to pull and analyze data.
- Strong background in reporting/analytics and working with data-driven products.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, or similar).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and manage customer-facing projects.
- Detail-oriented with a bias for action and learning.
- (Nice to Have) Experience working in a startup environment.
- (Nice to Have) Familiarity with Python.
- (Nice to Have) Exposure to BI tools or dashboard creation.
