About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop best-in-class machine learning models to predict claims outcomes, fraud, and other risk KPIs
- Develop novel features from raw telematics data
- Collaborate with ML Engineers to deploy machine learning models
- Monitor deployed models and link performance to commercial and customer outcomes
- Present work to Operational and Commercial stakeholders
- Explore new technologies and contribute to team best practices
- Turn telematics data into underwriting advantage and improve risk selection at quote and in-life stages
- Work within the Telematics Data Value team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with machine learning libraries for building and deploying machine learning solutions in cloud environments
- Experience using SQL
- Ability to communicate and collaborate across teams of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, ML Engineers, Operational stakeholders, and Commercial stakeholders
- Technical competence complemented by broader business understanding
- Problem-solving ability for complex real-world challenges
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Curiosity and willingness to challenge received wisdom and explore emerging techniques
- Thorough referencing process includes credit and criminal record checks
