About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven line management experience within a Cyber Security, Information Security or Technology function
  • Extensive practical IT Security experience in an agile environment
  • Transformational leadership experience influencing decisions and implementing processes
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Track record of developing high-performing technical teams
  • Experience conducting performance reviews, setting objectives and supporting technical professionals’ career progression
  • Experience designing, implementing and securing cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud security, network security, identity and access management, encryption and secure coding principles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyse complex security issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience designing, building and deploying scalable, secure and highly available Azure security infrastructures
  • Proficiency leveraging data and advanced analytics for security decision-making
  • Proficient knowledge of at least one agile methodology, such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe
  • Familiarity with backlog and test case management systems such as Jira or Octane
  • Expert knowledge of cloud technologies
  • Understanding of GDPR, ISO 27001 and NIST compliance requirements and security controls
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Defender security assessment tools, vulnerability scanning tools and SIEM platforms
  • In-depth Microsoft ecosystem knowledge, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, Proxies, M365, EDR and KQL
  • Expertise using Azure DevOps for collaborative development and security solutions in code
  • Candidates requiring sponsorship cannot be progressed
