About the role
- Ensure relevant and timely customer communications are sent during the claims journey across email, text message, digital notifications and printed letters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Claims SMEs, Compliance, Legal, customer service) to gather customer pain points, complaints and communication requirements
- Work with Claims process lead to review As-Is and To-Be process maps and define why, what, how, when and to whom communications should be generated
- Identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to streamline transactional communication workflows
- Review live outputs, update Technical Specifications and contribute to overall project plans
- Support the Claims Transformation to integrate communications with Mobile App, My Account and Operational Teams
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build trusted relationships with stakeholders
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to identify process and communications gaps and propose solutions
- Proficiency in creating clear, concise and logical communications content (not design)
- Understanding when to leverage the most appropriate delivery channel for customer audiences
- Ideally experience in the insurance industry (ideally Claims); experience in a highly regulated industry is an acceptable substitute
- Ability to work collaboratively with Claims SMEs, Compliance, Legal and customer service representatives
