About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate, review and execute full-cycle payroll processing for 11 international payrolls including Ireland, UK, France, Germany, India and others.
- Coordinate inputs from HR, Benefits, and Finance to ensure accurate payroll processing
- Develop and maintain payroll calendars, checklists, and processing schedules across all jurisdictions
- Ensure payroll compliance with local statutory requirements across all jurisdictions, including tax filings, social security, and pension contributions
- Support expansion of payroll operations to new countries across EMEA and APAC
- Support Corporate Accounting with month-end payroll related accounting tasks
- Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers
- Respond to employee enquiries regarding international payroll matters in a timely and professional manner
- Resolve international payroll tax notices from various tax authorities
- Assist in preparing international payroll reports and analytics for management review
- Support international equity compensation processes and reporting
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures and compliance documentation
- Support payroll systems integration projects and process automation initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hold a university degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Have 6-10+ years of experience in payroll operations, with at least 5 years in international payroll
- Are proficient in payroll processing for various compensation types (regular, off-cycle, severance, taxable benefits, and equity)
- Have strong knowledge of international payroll regulations and compliance requirements
- Are experienced with payroll journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures
- Have experience working with Workday HRIS and global payroll providers
- Possess excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines
- Are a strong communicator who can collaborate effectively across time zones and cultures
- Care about building infrastructure that supports a rapidly growing organization
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
