About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and scale a world-class developer platform
- Build load testing and benchmarking infrastructure
- Pioneer the future of software development and site reliability engineering
- Collaborate with Backend Platform teams
- Work closely with engineering teams to gather feedback
- Set the strategic direction and roadmap for scaling developer experience
- Provide strong technical leadership and mentorship
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python (or similar languages)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (Builtekite, Github Actions), test frameworks, or load and performance testing
- Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Pulumi, Terraform)
- A track record of producing high-quality, well-tested code
- Proven technical leadership throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Experience mentoring engineers
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Experience integrating AI agents into a developer ecosystem is a strong plus
