About the role
- Architect global IT excellence: You will be responsible for the global IT infrastructure, including networks, data centers, cloud platforms, workplace services and the Service Desk — with a focus on stability, scalability and future readiness.
- Transform IT into a service-driven powerhouse: You will develop a modern, user-centered IT service organization with clearly defined services, high levels of automation and measurable quality.
- Set the technology agenda: You will define the global infrastructure strategy and roadmap and drive initiatives such as cloud transformation, Zero Trust security, infrastructure automation and modern operating models.
- Lead and inspire at scale: You will lead international, cross-disciplinary IT teams with clarity, trust and ambition. You will build talent, foster ownership and establish a high-performance engineering and service culture.
- Embed security & governance by design: You will establish robust governance, security and compliance structures and ensure that IT security is an integral part of all infrastructure and service decisions.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- Several years of leadership experience in IT, including multiple years in senior roles with a focus on IT infrastructure and IT services, in globally operating companies of comparable size
- Experience in building and further developing modern IT service organizations (e.g., ITIL, DevOps, automation)
- Proven experience leading global sites and international teams as well as in designing and operating enterprise IT architectures
- Solid knowledge of networking, server and Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, IT security and IT service processes
- Strategic vision, decisiveness and a pronounced hands-on mentality
- Confident communication at all levels — fluent in English
