About the role

  • Architect global IT excellence: You will be responsible for the global IT infrastructure, including networks, data centers, cloud platforms, workplace services and the Service Desk — with a focus on stability, scalability and future readiness.
  • Transform IT into a service-driven powerhouse: You will develop a modern, user-centered IT service organization with clearly defined services, high levels of automation and measurable quality.
  • Set the technology agenda: You will define the global infrastructure strategy and roadmap and drive initiatives such as cloud transformation, Zero Trust security, infrastructure automation and modern operating models.
  • Lead and inspire at scale: You will lead international, cross-disciplinary IT teams with clarity, trust and ambition. You will build talent, foster ownership and establish a high-performance engineering and service culture.
  • Embed security & governance by design: You will establish robust governance, security and compliance structures and ensure that IT security is an integral part of all infrastructure and service decisions.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of leadership experience in IT, including multiple years in senior roles with a focus on IT infrastructure and IT services, in globally operating companies of comparable size
  • Experience in building and further developing modern IT service organizations (e.g., ITIL, DevOps, automation)
  • Proven experience leading global sites and international teams as well as in designing and operating enterprise IT architectures
  • Solid knowledge of networking, server and Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, IT security and IT service processes
  • Strategic vision, decisiveness and a pronounced hands-on mentality
  • Confident communication at all levels — fluent in English
