About the role

  • Manage relationships with privately run outpatient practices in the assigned sales territory that also perform outpatient surgeries, promoting relevant products and increasingly our complex service offerings
  • Collaborate with medical suppliers and wholesalers who supply clinic consumables and operating-room supplies
  • Hold content-related and commercial responsibility for the assigned sales region (market, customer and stakeholder management; controlling within defined parameters; reporting according to specifications)
  • Acquire new customers and further develop existing customers in the use of our value-added services
  • Responsible for implementing all planned and agreed measures to achieve the agreed sales and marketing targets within the assigned region
  • Organize and conduct internal and external customer workshops and training sessions on relevant products and services
  • Participate in customer events and trade shows
  • Maintain close and trusted collaboration with direct team members as well as other sales regions and central functions

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in Business Administration, Medicine (operating theatre/surgical area) or Nursing
  • Experience in sales or field sales, ideally with a medical device manufacturer or alternatively in the pharmaceutical industry; experience from other industries also welcome
  • Preferably professional experience selling technically complex products or experience in a nursing/care environment
  • Experience in independent, KPI-driven sales territory management is an advantage
  • Strong customer orientation and communication skills, high performance motivation and target orientation, and the ability to self-organize
  • Good knowledge of common PC applications (MS Office, Outlook, CRM); project management experience desirable
  • Willingness to travel
