About the role

  • Establish and maintain the association's accounting (income/expense accounting, recordkeeping)
  • Prepare annual financial statements and financial reports for the board and the general assembly
  • Monitor the use of funds in accordance with non-profit legal requirements
  • Contribute to budget planning and liquidity/cash-flow management
  • Review and draft contracts, cooperation agreements, and grant applications
  • Liaise with tax authorities and advise on tax matters (non-profit status, deductibility of donations)
  • Ensure compliance with association law obligations under Swiss law (ZGB Art. 60 et seq.)
  • Support the opening and administration of bank accounts

Requirements

  • Degree or professional experience in business administration, accounting, law, or a related field — advanced students are welcome
  • Basic knowledge of Swiss association law and/or non-profit law
  • Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets for financial planning
  • Careful, structured working style with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a small, remotely organized team
  • Fluent in German, good command of English
