Serve as project manager for external manufacturing activities, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, milestone tracking, and on-time delivery.
Support technology transfer projects by coordinating cross-functional inputs from Tech Ops, QA, RA, and Supply Chain, and aligning deliverables with CMO execution.
Manage day-to-day relationships with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to ensure alignment with business priorities and production requirements.
Oversee project execution related to external manufacturing, including planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking.
Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Act as primary liaison between internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Technical Operations) and CMOs to ensure seamless coordination.
Prepare and present regular project updates, performance metrics, and status reports to leadership.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and on-time delivery across external manufacturing operations.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, contractual agreements, and regulatory standards in all CMO-related activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
6+ years of experience in project management, external manufacturing, or operations within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
Strong background in technology transfer, regulatory/quality requirements, and supply chain processes.
Proven track record of managing CMO relationships and cross-functional project teams.
Excellent organizational, risk management, and communication skills.
PMP certification or formal project management training preferred.
