About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Represent the firm throughout the entire client engagement with high exposure to clients and senior bankers
- Support M&A and private capital advisory client work
- Participate in recruiting initiatives and mentorship programming
- Contribute to efforts to generate new client engagements
- Work closely with teammates on active workstreams and upcoming tasks
- Respond quickly to emails and calls in an on-call role
- Quality-check personal and teammates' work for accuracy
- Seek and incorporate feedback during and after key deliverables
- Articulate thoughts and ideas verbally and in writing
- Participate in internal and external client/C-suite-facing discussions as directed by the deal team

Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Working toward or already possessing a Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Academic performance combined with involvement outside the classroom, such as sports, student-led organizations, or work experience
- Understanding of Excel formulas, data validation, macros, tables, and conditional formatting
- Working understanding of connections among the income statement, cash flow statement, and balance sheet
- Ability to identify trends in data and articulate their impact
- Motivated by challenge and able to work collaboratively
- Responsive and able to answer emails and calls quickly
- Able to clarify deadlines and stay aligned with the team
- Able to work in an on-call, in-office role and work long hours when required
- Able to quality-check work for accuracy
- Able to articulate thoughts and ideas verbally and in writing
- Relevant skills for a role filled by recent university/college graduates with little or no professional experience
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered
