About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive work forward in partnership with analysts across multiple client engagements
- Maintain high exposure to clients and senior bankers
- Support the full lifecycle of M&A and private capital advisory engagements
- Lead multiple workstreams while maintaining quality
- Build trusted relationships across deal teams and firm colleagues
- Deliver accurate, high-quality, client-ready work products
- Manage workstreams and deadlines for consistent, on-time execution
- Translate data and analysis into actionable insight, deal strategy, and client recommendations
- Attend deal team meetings in person and respond quickly to emails and calls
- Participate in structured training and ongoing professional development
Requirements
What you’ll need- University / college degree typically required
- 5+ years of industry-relevant experience typically required
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Demonstrated academic performance and prior work experience
- Proficiency with Excel formulas, data validation, tables, and conditional formatting
- Ability to build clear, client-ready materials in PowerPoint
- Working understanding of income statement, cash flow statement, and balance sheet connections
- Willingness to deepen accounting, valuation, and financial modeling expertise
- Ability to identify trends in complex data sets using tools such as Capital IQ and FactSet
- Comfort using and directing AI tools while retaining ownership of quality, accuracy, and judgment
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly and tailor communication to the audience
- Ability to work on-call, attend in-person meetings, and work long hours
