What you’ll need

3 to 4 years of technical knowledge in troubleshooting SQL Server issues such as Always On, Failover Cluster Manager, performance troubleshooting, SQL Server Agent Jobs, replication, etc.
Basic knowledge of writing T-SQL scripts.
Ability to analyze stored procedures and T-SQL code.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues from a system/application perspective.
Sound knowledge of Windows Server, Windows Server logs, Windows storage systems, Windows printing, and IIS/web services.
Verbal and written command of the English language.
Preferred but not essential: knowledge of Active Directory, basic networking knowledge, and SQL Server backup and recovery strategies.
Preferred: work experience with enterprise software.
