About the role
- Driving product strategy, roadmap development, and execution of product development initiatives
- Managing the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through launch
- Writing product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Prioritizing product backlog based on business value and user impact
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers and designers
- Partnering with engineering and data stakeholders for AI-enabled initiatives
- Facilitating product planning sessions and backlog grooming
- Managing dependencies between multiple product squads
- Monitoring performance metrics and user feedback
Requirements
- 4-year college degree in Business, Technology, or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of combined experience in Product Management and/or Project Management
- Proven experience defining product requirements
- Strong project management skills
- Experience with user research methods and data analysis
- Familiarity with AI-driven products and data-enabled features
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
- Comfortable presenting to product teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Working knowledge of project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Experience with software development processes is preferred
- Product management certification or project management certification are assets
- Experience in publishing or media-related domains is a strong asset
- Willingness to travel depending on business needs.
