About the role

  • Driving product strategy, roadmap development, and execution of product development initiatives
  • Managing the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through launch
  • Writing product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Prioritizing product backlog based on business value and user impact
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers and designers
  • Partnering with engineering and data stakeholders for AI-enabled initiatives
  • Facilitating product planning sessions and backlog grooming
  • Managing dependencies between multiple product squads

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree in Business, Technology, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of combined experience in Product Management and/or Project Management
  • Proven experience defining product requirements
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with user research methods and data analysis
  • Familiarity with AI-driven products and data-enabled features
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable presenting to product teams and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Working knowledge of project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Experience with software development processes is preferred
  • Product management certification or project management certification are assets
  • Experience in publishing or media-related domains is a strong asset
  • Willingness to travel depending on business needs.
