About the role
- Plan, direct, coordinate and execute the selling of home accessibility products
- Provide tech support to Canadian based dealers
- Train and educate customers on product line marketing programs and advertising programs
- Solve product problems for customers
- Conduct training sessions (in-person, virtually, or on-site at dealer locations in Canada)
- Deliver phone and email support for installation, service, and product questions
- Lead facility and field training for stairlift, vertical platform lifts, and elevator products
Requirements
- 3-5 years in a sales role, preferably with electrical and mechanical products
- Associate degree or trade certification in a technical field; or 4+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Fluent in English and French
- Strong understanding of stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, or elevator systems
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Well-organized, able to manage travel and prioritize multiple issues
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
