About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise and provide technical direction to a team of Startup + Commissioning Teammates executing CSU activities
  • Ensure delivery of CSU services on time, within performance budget, and meeting quality expectations
  • Develop, review, and approve CSU execution plans
  • Utilize project controls for project cost, schedule, and quality
  • Support Project Managers in implementing client direction under the Startup + Commissioning Leader’s supervision
  • Execute project responsibilities and delivery through Project Managers
  • Review projects with Project Managers and Project Controls to confirm CSU activities remain on track
  • Ensure projects follow approved company procedures
  • Establish a safe work environment and communicate the company’s safety commitment
  • Plan and organize team work and communicate plans to teammates, company leadership, and clients
  • Maintain discipline performance, budget progress, schedule commitments, and quality standards using project control tools
  • Delegate CSU work according to teammates’ technical skills and experience and follow up to support efficient, quality progress
  • Review project performance and financials against client expectations
  • Handle technical contractual activities on assigned projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • College or advanced Technical coursework highly preferred
  • 10 or more years of relevant industrial experience in project management or automation / system integration engineering or management related to Commissioning and Startup (CSU)
  • Registration not required
