Key responsibilities & impact- Prequalify suppliers and contractors
- Negotiate terms and conditions
- Execute subcontracts and sourcing agreements
- Develop bid packages and strategic sourcing agreements
- Execute purchase orders and expedite orders
- Develop non-disclosure agreements
- Track and manage subcontract funding against project progress
- Close out service orders after contractual and procedural requirements are completed
- Maintain subcontract records according to company policy
- Prepare commercial bid analyses and award recommendations
- Monitor subcontractor performance and attend status meetings
- Manage the supplier database and supplier/contractor prequalification process
- Develop and maintain supplier and contractor relationships
- Interpret project scopes, statements of work, and project schedules

Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor of Science degree in a related field from an accredited university highly preferred
- At least 15 years of relevant professional experience in Supply Chain Management, specifically subcontract administration
- Relevant experience in an EPC environment required
- Experience in petrochemical, pulp and paper, power, and manufacturing industries required
- Experience with subcontracts in an EPC environment
- Ability to conduct and coordinate risk and price analysis on potential subcontractors
- Ability to learn and apply company standards
- Ability to organize effectively and execute contracts
- Proficiency in contract language and commercial terms and conditions
- Working knowledge and understanding of contract law and the UCC
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to negotiate contract conditions with suppliers and contractors
- Complete knowledge and understanding of payment terms
- Excellent verbal and written listening and communication skills
- Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as Microsoft Dynamics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
