Director of Business Development
Hargrove Engineers & ConstructorsDirector of Business Development responsible for building key customer relationships and achieving financial growth. Working with leadership to negotiate and close deals while maintaining market knowledge.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generally responsible for business development to improve organizational market position and achieve financial growth
- Works with Leaders to define long-term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions
- Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling and other means of generating interest from potential clients
- Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within client organization
- Research and build relationships with new clients
- Set up meetings between client decision makers and Hargrove Leaders
- Plan approaches and pitches
- Work with Team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
- Leading proposal efforts
- Participate in pricing the solution/service needed by client
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Business, or Marketing required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Business Development/Sales
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must have experience selling for an EPC firm
- Must have an understanding of Engineering, Design, and Project Management in an industrial setting
