About the role
- support power and substation projects
- lead and support the engineering of substation design
- design and execute high voltage systems for EPC projects
- work on complex power infrastructure projects
- collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, design, and project management
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in substation physical design
- Proven experience with high-voltage systems up to 345kV
- Strong document management, organization, and quality control skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred Software Experience: AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical, Bentley MicroStation, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, ASPEN OneLiner, CYMCAP, PLS-CADD (or similar transmission line analysis software), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
