About the role
- As a part of Harbor’s VG+S team, work closely with project team members and client personnel to provide procurement services in the APAC region
- Facilitate requirements gathering, researching best practices, leveraging market data and internal intellectual property, and conducting data analysis to facilitate the implementation of cost savings and process improvement opportunities
- Play a key role in real estate projects in the APAC region
- Implement and utilize a preferred vendor pool across the region
- Facilitate all stages of the procurement function, from sourcing vendors to contract negotiation and review to vendor relationship management
- Provide service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs, evaluating and validating analysis
- Support and manage all aspects of projects including guiding internal resources, conducting data analysis and research, training and mentoring junior team members and implementing identified opportunities directly alongside client senior management
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in industry or consulting team-oriented environment with a focus on strategic sourcing, process improvement, project management and/or financial analysis required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Supply Chain or Management Information Systems required
- Facilities Management and Real Estate Procurement expertise
- Experience in the Procurement Lifecycle: Call out the full end-to-end process more explicitly (requirements gathering → RFI/RFP/ITB → negotiation → contracting → vendor governance)
- Exceptional analytic skills and experience conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis
- Ability to think strategically and identify critical business issues
- Experience conducting financial analysis and research
- Ability to build trust as both a mentor and a valuable resource within the project team
- Exceptional business acumen, presence and interpersonal/communication skills
- Familiarity with APAC recruiting agencies and practices
- Live in Singapore
- MBA and/or PMP (or similar certifications) highly desirable
