About the role
- Design and evolve scalable, software architectures using system thinking principles
- Understand business needs into technical solutions emphasizing speed and simplicity
- Own features end-to-end — from ideation and design to deployment, ongoing maintenance, documentation and sharing
- Build clean, efficient, high-quality solutions and set the bar for engineering best practices
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment, and monitoring systems
- Debug complex issues across the stack and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks
- Integrate and leverage AI frameworks to accelerate development and enhance product functionality
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and reliability strategies for mission-critical systems
- Collaborate with product, design, and business partners to deliver impactful solutions
- Mentor teammates, perform code reviews, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing
- Create clear technical documentation for systems, APIs, and operational processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- 5+ years building scalable web and backend applications
- 3+ years of proficiency in either Typescript/NodeJS, Python, or both
- 3+ years of experience with AWS or comparable cloud platforms
- Proficient in SQL, and data access patterns like ORM
- Strong expertise in engineering practices, including CI/CD, observability, and cloud platforms
- Proven track record of rapidly delivering greenfield projects from concept to deployment
- Team-oriented with excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Experience building AI powered applications is a plus
- Experience with NestJS or Svelte a plus
- Exposure to the healthcare technology domain
- At least 2 years of experience within the healthcare technology domain
