About the role

  • Design and evolve scalable, maintainable data products, pipelines, models and architectures using system thinking principles
  • Understand business needs into technical solutions emphasizing speed and simplicity
  • Own features end-to-end — from ideation and design to deployment, ongoing maintenance, documentation and sharing
  • Build clean, efficient, high-quality solutions and set the bar for engineering best practices
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment, and monitoring systems
  • Debug complex issues across the stack and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks
  • Integrate and leverage AI frameworks to accelerate development and enhance product functionality
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and reliability strategies for mission-critical systems
  • Collaborate with product, design, and business partners to deliver impactful solutions
  • Mentor teammates, conduct code reviews, and create clear technical documentation for systems, APIs, and operational processes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software or data engineering
  • 3+ Years of proficiency in SQL, data warehouse technologies (Snowflake or similar), and data pipeline tech (DBT etc)
  • At least 2 years of experience within the healthcare technology domain
  • 3+yrs of proficiency in one or more of Python, Go, or similar languages
  • Proficiency in one or more of Python, Go, or Typescript/Node.js
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS, or comparable cloud platforms
  • Strong expertise in engineering practices, including CI/CD, observability, and cloud platforms
  • Design and evolve data systems that enable insight, scalability, and reliable data flows
  • Proven track record of rapidly delivering greenfield projects from concept to deployment
  • Team-oriented with excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • Exposure and familiarity with AI technologies and a background in experimenting with or developing AI-powered products and tools
