About the role
- Own Harbor's brand expression across all channels including web, app, print, social, email, clinics, sales collateral, events, and campaigns
- Elevate Harbor's brand recognition through design that improves clarity, trust, and distinctiveness
- Translate brand strategy into world-class creative execution with memorable visual and emotional cues across channels
- Develop strategy and execution plans to rebrand Village Medical clinics while minimizing member impact and remaining fiscally prudent
- Function as high-agency player/director: ship key work yourself while driving outcomes through clear direction and collaboration
- Set creative standards and guardrails for brand expression including visual direction, layout systems, typography, imagery style, iconography, and motion
- Build lightweight guidance enabling teams to execute consistently
- Design and execute high-impact assets including marketing site pages, landing pages, campaigns, print materials, presentation systems, board/investor decks, and campaign toolkits
- Direct and produce high-production moments requiring external partners (photo/video shoots, editorial content, motion/animation, illustration)
- Write briefs, creative treatments, and storyboards
- Select and manage vendors with strong taste and specific feedback
- Make strategic decisions on internal execution vs. external resources, balancing time, resources, and expertise
- Run high-signal creative reviews with stakeholders across departments
- Drive decisions and ensure work ships on time without brand dilution while introducing creative ideas that elevate the brand
- Partner with Product Design to ensure cohesive digital experiences across website and member portal/app
- Collaborate with Marketing team on campaign creative, lifecycle content, and go-to-market assets
- Extend brand into physical clinic spaces through signage, wayfinding, environmental graphics, and printed touchpoints
- Enable internal teams with on-brand systems including templates, slides, asset libraries, and guidelines
Requirements
- 8-12+ years in brand/visual/creative roles with demonstrated success as hands-on maker who can also lead with direction and influence
- Portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft and range including strong brand systems, web and digital marketing design, and presentation design
- Proven ability to execute: shaping stakeholder input into briefs and delivering shipped, on-brand artifacts
- Strong creative judgment and point of view with ability to articulate quality standards and provide precise feedback
- Deep proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Workspace, and other tools for web, print, and presentations
- Comfort building reusable systems including templates, libraries, and toolkits
- Experience directing external partners: scoping, briefing, negotiating, art directing, and controlling quality across deliverables
- Comfortable with cross-functional collaboration in regulated, high-stakes environment balancing brand excellence with speed, accuracy, and operational constraints
- Experience in healthcare or strong interest in learning the industry
- Technical skills in motion, illustration/vector, and/or video
