About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Selling Happy Floors Hard Surface flooring
  • Increasing business and sales for existing accounts and developing new ones
  • Weekly travel throughout the territory (up to 4-5 days of overnight travel per month (can change based on territory))
  • Strong and proven ability to sell and close deals on displays, samples and inventory while balancing professional and timely service
  • Proven ability to foster meaningful, long-term business relationships
  • Identify and develop nontraditional opportunities for sales
  • Report to Regional Sales Manager (RSM), who will work closely with you to train and help you to achieve your goals
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports
  • CRM/ Repsly adoption to manage territory
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Representative
  • A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with CRM a plus
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
