About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and lead the overall technical strategy, architecture, and design for complex systems and platforms.
- Own and oversee a set of key technologies within the location, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide architecture principles.
- Drive technical excellence by establishing best practices, design standards, and governance mechanisms.
- Act as a technical mentor and coach to Principal Engineers and senior technical leaders.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate business strategy into scalable technical solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact and applicability.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve system scalability, performance, and resilience.
- Provide deep technical expertise to solve complex architectural challenges.
- Represent the organization as a thought leader internally and externally (e.g., conferences, publications, community engagement).
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the engineering community.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7–15 years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in a Product/ Engineering Development or a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Hands-on experience in mentoring technical teams and leading cross-functional collaboration
- Managing cross-functional and globally distributed teams
- Lead end-to-end product delivery, ensuring value-based prioritization and timely execution.
