Sales Execution Specialist – Export to Far East
Hapag-Lloyd AGSales execution specialist driving Hapag-Lloyd's services in the Far East. Actively manage client portfolios and market analysis to enhance sales performance.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Active sales and marketing of Hapag-Lloyd's services, with a focus on export to the Far East
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing clients, while also acquiring new customers
- Evaluate customer potential and create sales plans for the assigned customer segment using MR Sales methodology
- Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on customer performance, market trends, and competitor activities
- Organize sales activities and oversee business development using QlikView and Salesforce
- Coordinate transport quotations and handle global and local tenders in collaboration with the Sales Coordination team
- Establish and promote a push/pull sales process with other Hapag-Lloyd areas and regions
- Collaborate closely with the Area's Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed commercial apprenticeship or a comparable degree
- Several years of professional experience in the shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics industry, preferably in an external sales/sales role in the export business, with a focus on the Asia Trade
- A sales-oriented mindset, with strong negotiation and closing skills
- Self-initiative, resilience, and excellent communication abilities
- Analytical, systematic, and efficient work style
- High affinity for digital products and willingness to adapt to new technologies
- Excellent written and spoken German, and good English language skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a results-driven mindset
