Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a growing, dynamic, bridge group in the Illinois market by developing staff, delivering structural projects, and assisting in pursuing exciting opportunities
Perform complex engineering calculations, utilize computer software for analysis and design, and work efficiently with other team members for project completion
Manage bridge staff in Illinois and determine staffing needs for projects
Collaborate and establish working relationships with project managers, senior technical staff and other project disciplines on significant projects across the country
Preparation of specifications, details, and construction plans for complex projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Target 10+ years of experience of highway bridge design, minimum experience of 8 years
Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) and Structural Engineer (S.E.) in the state of Illinois
Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is desirable
Experience with MicroStation or OpenBridge Modeler is preferred
Experience with MS Office Suite preferred
Experience with structural design software packages such as Bentley OpenBridge Designer is desirable
Experience with Midas Civil or Larsa4D is desirable
